Task
From 4 to 7 October 2016, the exhibition of agricultural products “Agrosalon-2016” was held at Crocus Expo (Moscow). Rostselmash is a permanent participant of the exhibition, and 2016 was no exception.
Almost 3000 square meters of the exhibition space – an area comparable to the size of a small exhibition – was subject to careful planning. Concept development and implementation time was 1 month.
Design
The exhibition space was conditionally divided into several zones, which needed to be reflected in the design: a zone for machinery placing, a zone for presentation and VIP negotiations, a Fanshop with the company’s souvenir products and technical rooms.
When developing the concept, it was decided to use a multi-level structure to emphasize the scale of the brand, save space and the ability to view equipment from a height. In the design, it was decided to use a combination of materials, both exhibition and interior technologies, to create a holistic image of one of the leading brands of Russian agricultural machinery.

Process
In addition to the visual design and well-thought-out ergonomics of the stand, the task included the use of technical solutions: an automatic elevator for serving snacks to the second level of the stand, automatic sliding doors for a fan shop, professional sound and lighting.
Naturally, such a large-scale assignment required the involvement of many specialized contractors, which required maximum attention to details on the part of the project management.
Challenges
Of course, in the tight installation time, there were some incidents – we were left without an elevator, it did not have time to arrive on time from the supplier. It had to be invented on site, for which special thanks to our lead engineer for the excellent engineering implementation.
Not without incidents in the area of machinery placement. Multi-ton harvesters, when driving on the podiums, partially broke them. Therefore, after the end of the assembly day, the nights of making replacements for damaged elements began.

Numbers
3000 sq. m of the exhibition area
30 days to develop an idea and prepare a project
6 days for stand assembling
more than 100 people working on the project
13 highly specialized contractors for processes not directly related to the construction of the stand
1 day for dismantling
Result
The design of the stand itself was initially developed jointly with the designers of the Rostselmash company and our design team from Alpaca Expo Group. Thanks to our common joint work, we got an unforgettable and grand stand!
This large-scale and grandiose event was remembered not only by the number of persons involved to work on the project, but also by the uniqueness of the presented designs.
