How did it all start?
It all started with the selection of a place for the salon. Together with the local dealer, we participated in the technical assessment of the premises for the salon. Ferrari has a position of a specialist in assessing the compliance of the location of the salon with the brand’s policy, which flies to the location and gives permission to build the show room exactly on place after a visual assessment of the site location. Locations in the city center only were taken into account, the condition of the premises and the entrances to the show room in which is often difficult.
After the final approval of the place, thorough preparatory work began for the construction and installation works. Ferrari has a very detailed brand book, the detailed adherence to which is one of the brand’s inapplicable rules.
Kilometres of approvals from Italian suppliers, wagons samples sent for approval, volumes of read rules for working with Ferrari guidelines – the entire preparatory process took about 4 months, and only after that we were able to proceed to the construction work on the showroom.
The manufacturing quality of the elements for the famous Italian brand was carefully monitored by a dealer and a quality expert from Ferrari. Work under the every minute supervision was, on the one hand, difficult and, on the other, insanely interesting and impressive. It is very pleasant when a salon adjusted to a millimetre becomes the home for hand-assembled cars, fully meeting the level of the brand and the quality of the Ferrari product.
Challenge and Result
The most exciting moment was the arrival of the car through the entrance of the old building. We maximised the opening facade, as far as the architectural and construction services of the city allowed, but this width was still on the verge of permissible. The showroom premiered and new Ferrari cars received Kiev registration.
